Technical Support > Email Setup

If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express follow these instructions (this walks you through the wizard, scroll down for direct settings reference):

1.) Click Tools

2.) Click Accounts

3.) Click Add and Choose Mail

4.) Enter your Full Name

5.) Choose 'I already have an email address that I'd like to use'

6.) Enter your full email address and click Next

7.) POP3 Incoming Mail Server: mail.
(ie. mail.verdiproductions.com) - this will be your domain name

8.) SMTP Outgoing Mail Server: smtp. ***
(ie. smtp.verdiproductions.com) - this will be your domain name

*** - Please DO NOT change this setting if it is currently set to your internet service provider's server or if your provider requires their server be used to send email. If you are not sure, contact your internet provider.

9.) Account name: Enter your full email address

10.) Password: Enter the password

11.) Click Next and Click Finish

12.) Click the Properties Button

13.) Click the Servers Tab

14.) If using smtp. for the SMTP Server setting:

Under the Section -- Outgoing Mail Server
Make sure to place a check in the box that says:
"My server requires authentication"

15.) Click OK

16.) Click Close
